But thanks to the team behind Hentai Heroes, we perverts now have a digital way to live that fantasy.
PornstarHarem.com is essentially the same concept as Hentai Heroes, but with real pornographic photos instead of anime artwork. That's the simplest way to describe it, though there's a lot more depth. I'd call it an adult RPG with visual novel elements, where you play as a nerdy guy who somehow becomes the world's biggest porn star. As someone who's reviewed adult sites for years, I can appreciate that kind of story. The real question is whether it's actually good for masturbation, so let's dive in.
Let's Build a Pornstar Harem
When you first boot up the game, you see a blonde girl in a blue bra with angel wings. She welcomes you and says your adventure is beginning, counting on you to seduce lots of sexy women. Right away, you're thrown into a POV threesome scene with two pornstars. The game uses high-quality porn stills to drive the narrative, which works nicely for getting in the mood.
The story starts with your character wondering how he ended up in this situation, and it all began when he met Shawna, the angel girl. If you've played Hentai Heroes, the interface will look very familiar. The gameplay loop is nearly identical, with Shawna acting as your guide, much like the bunny-eared character in the hentai version.
Soon after starting, your landlord shows up demanding three months of unpaid rent. Of course, she's not a grumpy old woman but a MILFy pornstar. You know where this is going: she offers to settle things with a little private conversation. It's a classic porn setup, and it works.
This Boner I Have Seems Familiar
After that scene, you level up and another sex scene begins. This time you see the guy's face, which isn't yours. The game explains that Shawna can change appearances, which conveniently justifies all the different pornstars you'll encounter. During the scene with the landlord, she talks about building your harem. If you impress a lady enough, she'll stick around and offer services whenever you want. Attraction is measured in points, and you get a hundred points toward your landlord by the end.
Here's where the game first asks for money. I was a bit disappointed because Hentai Heroes took longer before pushing purchases. The initial offer is five bucks for gold worth forty dollars, but I wanted to see how far I could go without spending. The best free-to-play games don't cripple free players.
Shawna then guides you through the harem interface. Again, Hentai Heroes veterans will feel at home. She explains how to collect money and unlock more content. I did hit a small glitch where the back button didn't work, but refreshing fixed it.
When you see the United States map with locations like Begin City and Fuckwell University, you start to appreciate the scale of Pornstar Harem. There's a ton of X-rated content waiting to be unlocked, which has always been a strong point of Hentai Heroes.
Is Pornstar Harem Really Free?
The game mechanics are simple but engaging, perfect for one-handed play. You track various points, but you don't need to obsess over them while clicking through porn scenes. The lightning bolt points are the most important since you spend one per click. They refresh over time, so free players might run out if they click too fast.
Overall, I found the game fair. I played for a long time without paying, and in-app purchases really do feel optional. That's rare for adult gacha games.
During my session, I banged my landlord, had a threesome, hooked up with the angel guide, and then played a big-dicked plumber. The game works classic porn scenarios into the story, which will appeal to fans of those genres. I wish they included actual videos instead of just stills, but it's not a dealbreaker.
Keep in mind Pornstar Harem is brand new, so there are minor bugs. I played in two browsers and saw the same glitches. Sound didn't work even after toggling settings. I also saw text like "This pic doesn't exist in cache path_portraits," but no missing images.
